COVID-19 STATEMENT

Canopy Club friends and fans

As you may have seen, Canopy Club is temporarily closed down due to safety reasons around Covid-19. We are working diligently to reschedule all of the shows we had on our spring calendar. Please stay tuned for further information as we work out new dates for these events. Once we do have further information, we will reach out to all ticket buyers. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to info@canopyclub.com.

Thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented situation. Be sure to stay safe, healthy and love each other (from a safe distance).

PREVIOUS STATEMENT ON THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CANOPY CLUB

Dear Canopy Club Friends and Family-

In light of yesterday’s events with Governor Pritzker announcing a mandated ban on events over 1000 and a requested ban on events over 250 in order to quarantine Covid-19, along with the CDC and the WHO’s recommendations, we have decided to close the doors of the Canopy Club from March 14th thru May 1st.

One of the hardest things about this experience is that it is rapidly evolving, and we are in a constantly reactive posture. It’s hard on everyone. And just as virus germs can be contagious, so can fear. In this moment, we are taking a proactive stance to keep all of you and our patrons healthy, to reduce both germs, and fear. We want you to know that we deeply value each and every one of you. The Canopy Club is made up a strong and mighty family, and would not be possible without each of you. We will come back together, just as strong, after this increased need for public safety has passed.

It important to understand this decision was not taken lightly, but was made in to keep our fans and our staff healthy. There will be a lot of people in the music industry over the next couple months struggling to make ends meet, from musicians to venue staff, promoters, festival staff, and so many more behind the scenes. Please share your grace, love and understanding for them and for all the others highly impacted by this period of time whether it be via health, finance, or family. This is a community, a society problem, that is not just affecting us. The best we can do is all work through this together and be there for each other as we move past this stage.

With love,
The Canopy Family
