Summer Camp Music Festival’s Make a Difference is teaming up with Chalice Dubs Masquerade to do a “Wish List” drive to benefit The Center for Women in Transition in Urbana, IL.


Summer Camp will be hosting a Make a Difference Drive at the Chalice Dubs Masquerade show Saturday, February 2 at The Canopy Club in Urbana, IL. The drive will support The Center for Women in Transition. Bring THREE items from the following list and receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win tickets to Excision, Wick-It the Instigator, Cosby Sweater, merchandise and more! Every three items will get you another raffle ticket, so the more donations you bring, the better your chances are to win great prizes.


The Center for Women in Transition exists to empower women and their children.  The agency provides housing and supportive services for families experiencing homelessness or who are victims of domestic violence.  The Center has a long history of service in Champaign-Urbana, and is continuing to work in the community by expanding the services we provide. The Make A Difference area at Summer Camp is a space for collective consciousness. The Soulshine Tent in the Make A Difference area at the festival is a place to increase your social and environmental awareness by learning about the nonprofit organizations on site, take in an acoustic set for a good cause, participate in workshops and activities and so much more. With activities around the clock, the Make A Difference Area will provide you with an eye opening, and maybe even transforming, experience. Throughout the year, Summer Camp’s Make A Difference sponsors all kinds of drives at Summer Camp related artist shows in an attempt to raise awareness and goods for worthy causes.  Thus, utilizing the Summer Camp Music Festival to really Make A Difference all year.  Learn more about Make A Difference here


The Summer Camp Music Festival started in 2001. Since its beginning Summer Camp has been known for its spacious, open fields for shows, trademark late-night events, pristine campgrounds and amazing lineup of eclectic artists and bands. 2013 with be the 13th year of the festival which has hosted a wide array of talent over the years, including: Widespread Panic, the Flaming Lips, Willie Nelson, STS9, Bassnectar, Wiz Khalifa, The Avett Brothers, Skrillex, Primus, George Clinton, Jane’s Addiction, The Roots, Girl Talk and many, many more.
